Is the drive really long?
Yes, it’s about 5 hours each way, but we make several stops at interesting places to stretch your legs and soak in the views.
What’s the best thing to wear?
Light, breathable clothes for the day and a sweater for the air-conditioned van or the cooler evening desert air.
Are the film studios worth it?
Absolutely! It’s surreal to see Egyptian temples and medieval castles sitting in the middle of the Moroccan desert.
Is this tour suitable for kids?
It is, but keep in mind the long travel time. Children who enjoy movies and exploring old ‘castles’ will love Ait Ben Haddou.
